Letters From LA presents a selection of Ty Joseph’s work from 2017–2025, tracing the artist’s ongoing exploration of identity, elegance, and the social textures of Los Angeles through bold, Pop-influenced paintings built from his signature L motifs.
Drawing on nearly a decade of life and observation in the city, the exhibition gathers canvases that move between abstraction and figuration, turning the letter “L”—for Los Angeles, for elegance, for the missing syllable in his name—into a visual language of connection, spectacle, and personal narrative.
