STAY AT THE JOSEPH-PETROVSKI ART FOUNDATION HOUSE
Welcome to the Joseph-Petrovski Foundation House. We are pleased to offer our guest suite to established creative and industry people for a short stay, at a reasonable rate, and we would like to invite you into our home as a guest. You will find a comfortable place to stay in one of Los Angeles’s quieter hillside neighborhoods, in a mid-century house with a large pool, a hot tub, a broad yard, and rooms shaped by the art and objects we live with. The house is shared with like-minded people, and from here you are close to much of what the city has to offer.
The suite has its own entrance and its own bathroom, so you can come and go without passing through the rest of the house. It is arranged as two themed rooms, furnished with care and finished with the same attention we give the rest of the house: art on the walls, considered furniture, and small details rather than standard hotel fittings. The bathroom is private to the suite, and a small fridge is in the laundry room beside it.
Outside, the pool is large enough for a real swim. The hot tub sits beside it, with a lounge on the far side of the terrace. The yard is broad, with a place to practice golf, and the hillside pines are the view. If you would rather not drive, the 218 bus stop is about a ten-minute walk. Street parking is straightforward if you have a car.
The rate is $100 a night from Sunday through Thursday, and $120 a night on Friday and Saturday. The suite is arranged for one to four guests, with an additional $60 a night for each guest beyond the first. There is a one-time cleaning fee of $75. To reserve, write to stay@josephpetrovski.org with the dates you have in mind, who will be staying, and a little about what brings you to Los Angeles. We do not use a booking form. We read each note and personally reply.
